The great thing about him is that you'll NEVER be able to figure him out.
I asked a whlie back and the official answer was he doesn't feel he has much to say anymore, and he only wants to do it in one place.

I'm here every work day. It's very convenient for me but every once in a while work does get in the way.
Regarding toy talk...I haven't bought anything since the Dragons line. I haven't seen much to excite me anymore. I don't know if it's toy burnout of if the offerings are really that bad for me.

I've certainly slowed down in my figure collecting, and haven't really bought anything else lately that might interest anyone here, aside from a couple of sideshow LOTR pieces.
I am not sure what is going on with the industry - there just isn't anything out there to really grab my attentions anymore.
I still collect the Spawn stuff, and I get all wrapped up into those lines when they are due to come out.
ML has gotten old habit almost - so damn difficult to find them that it has spoiled me on them I think. If it wasn't for the help of 316what, I'd probably have given up back on series 6 cause the area I am in just doesn't want to stock them well enough to make it worth someone's while.
SMC has been slow for ages for me as I only been getting the bad guys from the lines, and since 316what helped with mystereo, that is pretty much it for me this year bar one version of Spider-man, but he is never hard to find on the pegs. none of the SM versions are.
LOTR is dying down, too many of the same figures made again and again (how many version of Frodo do we need?), and with the next wave, there is really nothing for the wife to want, thus not much for me to hunt.
SW has died for me, as the ROTS figures went up in price, and just not enough difference to grab me on them - plus I hate those damned action features [img]graemlins/grrr.gif[/img]
There are a few things here and there, but nothing to just out and really get the excitment going again. There was the bust-ups from Gentle Giant for Star Wars that were exciting to me, until I found out they were blind boxed and I hate having to buy and buy and buy to get a full set and have tons of dupes - that is the reason I gave up trading cards! Same with the new marvel items, they look great, but being blind boxed turns me off on them - majorly
Hopefully something will come out to get my attention, although I think I am going to dig back into Gundam models again now that I have the space to do them, so those will get the juices flowing. Get a couple of those a month max due to the time it takes to get them together!

Seriously, this solves a lot of dilemnas. One is that the figs are generally super poseable and come with tons of very cool accessories. S you can actually spend a lot of time getting them exactly how you want them to look. Plus by buying extra guns, clothes, etc. you have a ton more options.
Then since they're so damn expensive, you really can't buy a lot of them. You get maximum anticipation waiting on the ones you really want.
Problem solved.
